About the venue The Galleon opened in spring 2009.

The atmosphere is relaxed and stylish with a French influence, leather sofas, granite tables, original wooden floors, beautiful flower displays and huge pewter candle lanterns.

We have a dining area for more formal eating or food may be served whilst relaxing on one of our many sofas.

We have a stunning conservatory and the doors are opened in the warmer months, a very large patio garden which seats 100 people for alfresco drinking and dining and lit in the evenings by over 2000 twinkling lights.

We have a beautiful south facing garden, open for alfresco drinking, dining and BBQ's.

In colder months we have two open fireplaces which create a wonderfully cosy atmosphere.

Menu highlights

• Our food encompasses a European theme which includes classics such as Bangers and Mash, Salmon and Dill Fishcakes and Chicken Caesar Salad.
• We have five or six daily specials which utilise the freshest seasonal produce available from the market. All our food is freshly prepared.
